How black body physics and radiation equilibrium is crucial to semiconductor operation: links

There was some skepticism expressed regarding my claim that black body radiation equilibrium physics used to argue the inevitability of climate change in a world having higher greenhouse gas concentrations (per Arrhenius) had something crucial to do with the operation of semiconductors.
