Any environmental organization whose policy inhibits or prohibits solar development wherever it can be placed is unworthy of the adjective “environmental.”
The reality that NIMBYs need to come face-to-face with (and they will, eventually) is that our planet is our backyard; and those who throw things ‘away’ fail to comprehend that ‘away’ is a place on Earth.
