Not sure I can follow all the maths. Any idiots guide to how this links to climate change and supervise search!
I just reblogged the piece. Ask Nathan at Climate Change Ecology. He did recommend lectures by Joe Blitzstein of Harvard, although those lectures from what I have seen (I have not watched them) are not specific to population biology. I might also recommend the book Bayesian Analysis for Population Ecology by King, Morgan, Gimenez, and Brooks, which I am currently working through.
