on the exquisitely fragile, blue ball, with all the life we know everywhere, and ever was

It’s just Earth. And Earth will be okay, completely fine, with or without us. As will the biosphere, our companions. It cannot be worse than the horrors people have already inflicted our fellow creatures.

The questions we need to face are

  • How long do we want to continue to pretend this delicate connection, this dependency upon the rest of non-human life on Earth does not really matter?
  • How much of what we know to be human life are we willing to risk for our kids, our grandkids, and even us?

Only the people living here, in a collective, can answer those questions. Those of us gifted to be more in tune with Earth than others have tried, urgently, emotionally, and with skill, for 50 years, to pass that message on. It really is not our fault if we were not listened to. It’s been done in so many ways, so many times, to so many people.

It is now your responsibility, to decide, and to act.

Listen, to a poem.
