About that “hide the decline” thing …

(Hat tip to Climate Denial Crock of the Week)
It’s amazing what you can do when you take words out of context. Watch The Daily Show some time. But that’s entertainment, not governance.

Hide the decline?

The email doesn’t say anything of the sort.

But people hear it on the Web, and in media, and are idiots enough to believe it.

Maybe people deserve some of the effects of climate disruption, especially in the United States. They’ve have had 50 years to do something about it, and there will be a lot of people elsewhere in the world who will suffer because of their inaction and selfishness.

How close are we to dangerous planetary warming?
